The Kumbha Mela is a gathering of Sadhus, Yogis, Wandering Ascteers and Holy Men that converge on the River Ganges in India in their millions.They come to give puja and bathe in her sacred waters. This happens every four years, with a larger gathering every twelve years and every sixty four years an even more massive one occurs.

This was such an unusually rare event on all scales that I had to put pen to paper for those interested enough in how this all comes together! There was of course a very tragic disaster with the Earthquake and some of the proceeds and profit will be going to those relief funds.

Soul searching, totally free thinking and completely emotive, the Warp Experience event has created a major revolution in club land. Where else can you hear an eight year old DJ play an astounding techno set and a nine year poetess / stand up comedienne do her thang in the same venue? And the metamorphosis of a busy city car park in London Bridge into a 24 hour club / visual arts / performance and dance arena every fortnight has to be a remarkable feat in itself. A testament to the clubs success is the fact that the 3000 capacity car park can no longer cope with the demand, forcing the Warp to seek a larger location as its reputation grows both nationally and internationally.

Muses Rapt Spiritual Healing

The Muses Rapt is Juan Verdera from that jewel of an island, Ibiza, where hopes, dreams and music are made and with out sounding too saccharine, this is the perfect setting for the story behind this album.

Juan began his career in the early 80's with experimental punk bands like "Derribos Aria", who used drum machines and MS10's mixed with distorted bass & guitars to create a hybrid of punk and industrial. He then returned to Ibiza and began promoting concerts and invested his money in a studio in which he began to write his own experimental techno traxs.
